Goats Leap
India Pale Ale

Created to emulate the type of beer shipped to India during the days of British rule in Victorian times. To survive the long journey and hot conditions on arrival these beers needed to have plenty of alcoholic content and plenty of hops.
Full-bodied, strong with a striking bitter finish. A big beer brimming with hop character.
Brewed using the highest quality Pale ale, Maris Otter, Wheat, Crystal and Cara malts and heavily hopped with a blend of English Goldings, Challenger and Fuggles whole hops.
A proper English IPA and named after a fishing spot in Karnataka (Southern India) where Jem fished many times in Mekedatu Gorge in the early 2000`s. Legend has it that a goat leapt across the river to escape a leopard at the point where the Gorge drops over 100 ft to the water. (Similar to Cheddar Gorge without the river bit)
ABV 5.5%
