Cheddar Ales are committed to protecting your privacy. We don't like spam mail either, so we will never share your contact details or any other personal information with anyone else.
From time to time we may send a newsletter (with new products, offers or news) to the e-mail address with which you registered. This is an opt-in service, and you may choose to subscribe or unsubscribe at any time (via your shop account panel).
You have the right to view and update the information we hold about you. This may also be done through your shop account panel, or may be requested in writing.
Delivery
A £5 delivery charge is payable on all orders under £250. Orders over this value do not incur this charge. We reserve the right to occasionally change this policy on specific products. You will be notified of the delivery charges payable before completing the order in all cases.
We aim to dispatch your order as soon as possible. This may be dependant on product availability and the method of delivery chosen.
In the event that no-one is available to accept delivery of your order, a card will be left by the courier with contact details. You will be required to contact the courier to arrange re-delivery (at no extra charge). The order may be returned to us if this is not done promptly, and a re-delivery or handling charge may be payable.
Delivery will only be made to the address provided with your order, and only to a person authorized to accept delivery and over the age of 18. Proof of identity should be made available if asked for.
Cheddar Ales cannot accept liability for incorrect, damaged or missing items unless such issues are reported to us within 7 days of delivery. Our liability is limited to the value of the missing items plus applicable delivery charges. Cheddar Ales reserves the right to correct the order within 14 days of the issues being reported, or to refund you for the value of the items not delivered.
Providing incorrect delivery or contact information may result in delivery delays, for which Cheddar Ales will not be held responsible.
Orders
All orders from our website, or directly from our brewery premises, are subject to UK law regarding the sale of alcohol. We will not sell to any persons under the age of 18, and may request proof of identity/age when purchasing directly from our brewery. By placing an online order (for alcohol products), you are confirming that you over the age of 18, and are legally permitted to purchase alcohol.
We accept payment by credit card via the Paypal service. Payment will be taken at the time the order is placed.
We reserve the right to cancel or partially accept your order, dependant on stock availability or other factors. The order price will be altered to reflect partial acceptance.
You will be notified at the time of placing the order if any extra charges or altered prices are chargeable.
If we are unable to supply an item from you order, we will contact you with the option of cancelling or waiting a specified period for the item to become available.
