Beer Festival 2009

Introduction

Festival Board

The time has come to christen the brewery with a proper party so June will see us throwing our first beer festival in the brewery. It'll be a beer lover's paradise that will bring together over 40 award-winning beers from around Britain to create one of the finest selections of beers ever seen in one venue. The star-studded range will include the majority of champion beers from the national CAMRA and SIBA festivals over the past three years, as well as our own range of winning ales.

The festival will be based in and around the brewery, so you'll get the chance to see where we make the beers and to get close to the kit. We also have plenty of outdoor space to soak up any sun during the day, and there will be music and games to keep you further entertained. We'll also be barbecuing a great range of locally-sourced food to keep you well fed.

Opening Hours

The festival will run for the weekend of 12th - 14th June 2009. Opening hours are as follows:

Friday 12th June: 6pm – 11.30pm

Saturday 13th June: Midday – 11.30pm

Sunday 14th June: Midday – 5pm

Tickets?

The event isn't ticketed, just turn up and pay on the door. Entry will be £5, which includes a souvenir pint glass and your first pint.

Free Pint For CAMRA Members

All CAMRA members who can show a valid CAMRA membership card will receive a free pint on entry.

On-site camping

Fall out of the festival and straight into bed, then wake up and have beer and bacon sandwiches for breakfast. It's the stuff dreams are made of. Plus we're surrounded by gorgeous countryside and there's plenty to do in the local area so it will make for a great weekend break.

All camping enquiries to Julian Sayer on 07813 320870 or julians@activemendip.co.uk.

For more info on the local area and for other accommodation options visit www.cheddarvillage.co.uk.
